Dear Friends

This Sunday as we hold our much delayed APCM, and we will be electing new wardens and PCC members.  There have been a number of vacancies on the PCC and it is really encouraging to see so many people coming forward to fill those vacancies. My prayer is that with the appointment of the wardens and PCC members (and also the forthcoming appointment of a new Rector) you will be able to move forward into a new chapter of your life as a church community with confident enthusiasm as you seek to serve God in this place at this time.

With all God’s blessings, Alessandra

Prayers for Daily Life – Trinity

O God, the creator and preserver of all,

we pray for people in every kind of need;

make your ways known on earth,

your saving health among all nations …

We pray for the Church;

guide and govern us by your good Spirit,

that all who profess and call themselves Christians

may be led into the way of truth,

and hold the faith in unity of spirit,

in the bond of peace and in righteousness of life …

We commend to your fatherly goodness

all those who are any ways afflicted or distressed,

in mind, body or estate;

comfort and relieve them in their need,

give them patience in their sufferings,

and bring good out of all their afflictions …

We remember those who have gone before us

in the peace of Christ,

and we give you praise for all your faithful ones,

with whom we rejoice in the communion of saints …

All this we ask for Jesus Christ’s sake.

All   Amen
